Day 1 or 1 Day

Everyday you have the opportunity to make a choice today is Day 1 or it is simply another day when 1 Day you'll get started
Day 1 or 1 Day this is often said and the expectation is everyone knows what this means but part of my coaching and this platform is to answer the "stupid" "obvious" questions that you may be too afraid to ask but would love to have answered.
My goal is for you to read through this and every post and think that was exactly what I wanted to know.
Day 1 is where your intentions are clear, it is a starting point,
Your why is written down
Morning routine is ready to implement
Meal Plan ready to start cooking and eating from
Shopping list so you have everything you need
A calendar to mark off each task as it is completed
your fitness test start point - sit-ups in a minute, beep test, push-ups in a minute, hang test
A list of obstacles you know you have to work around and overcome and could sabotage you - birthdays, work stress, takeaway nights, holidays
your emergency plan for difficult days - if you want to quit - you'll do .... instead
progress tracker ready for check ins and reflection
Evening routine is ready to implement
you have taken your measurements
you have weighed yourself
taken your front, side and back photos
you have tried on the clothes that you wish you could wear but can't fit into YET
you have the food in the fridge, freezer & pantry
you activated your gym membership or Sports & Aquatic Centre membership
you have the goals in mind
the vision board created
the check in points set up
your accountability buddy in place
the workout clothes, shoes, drink bottle, towel and bag ready to use
you have your rewards in place for when you achieve each checkpoint and milestone
One Day is a completely different energy. It sounds hopeful, responsible, you have the intention, but one day rarely arrives.
I'm sure you have said, or heard someone say
I'll start Monday
I'll start next month
I'll start after Christmas
I'll start on New Year's Day
I'll start after my birthday
I'll start when the kids are older
I'll start after this holiday
I'll start when work settles down
I'll start when I have more money
I'll start when i feel motivated
I'll start when life isn't so busy
The problem is that life never stops happening, those moments never come, and when they do, they are often replaced with another checkpoint that is equally never going to come. This is the trap of One Day.
it convinces you that you're moving towards your goal, when actually you are moving further and further from it.
The hardest part of moving from One Day to Day 1 isn't knowing what to do, it's making the decision that Day 1 is actually happening and Day two will follow and Day 7 will come and 30 days from now you have stayed consistent 60 days from now you are still consistent and 90 days from now a whole new version of yourself is starting to emerge.
So, whether you do the group programme or 1-1 make the decision that you are important, you matter and you are a priority in your life
