Day 20 - 25th August 2026

Last week, I had organizing projects, and I think there's a lot of dust that has gone up into my sinus.
As I am writing this, I actually have quite a blocked nose.
Prior to starting these twenty days, old Amie would have said, "You know what, I haven't been feeling well. I'm just going to sit and rest, and when I feel better, I will get into action".
I messaged my trainer, as I had every intention of going to the gym, and doing my heavy weight-based training session. I said, my nose is blocked, however I feel fine.
I would have used this as an excuse – although I really want to go to the gym, I don't want to make someone else sick.
I don't want people to be looking at me with a disapproving gaze when wearing a mask.
I don't want to get in trouble for being at the gym and wearing a mask.
He said "It doesn't have to be a heavy gym workout day. Just keep active."
I have decided to do a garage sale on September 19th and September 20th. Yesterday, Hunter helped me with moving the furniture around.
Now I can go through the process of clearing everything out of the patio that really doesn't belong anywhere on the property.
I can set up all of the books. I can make my way through our garage and start putting things on the shelves.
I can also begin taking photos and post them on Facebook groups and the Marketplace.
As things sell, I'll update the pictures and proceed with the garage sale.
We're then going to do one more garage sale in December.
What does not sell in December, we will be booking a hard waste collection.
We're going to break down any furniture that's still here.
I want to start 2027 with a clean slate.
I want to clear out the garage entirely so that we can paint the walls.
This way, we can install curtains to create a smaller room within the garage, which will allow us to lay down carpet, making it a beautiful and inviting space.
We can then paint the furniture that is going back into the space, and we'll also build shelving along the walls.
To move the furniture back into the space, set up the fireplace, place the TV on the wall, and set up the DVD player, allowing us to have an entertainment area.
Remove all of Hunter's toys and place them in the garage so that the living room is clear.
Move all of our Lego to the garage to beautifully display it, which will allow me to reclaim the living room as my library.
The house shall be our home.
I wish to enlist our electrician's help to enhance the Wi-Fi signal so that I may relocate my office to the garage.
Which will accommodate for our 3rd bedroom to be used properly.
I want to strip the bunk beds. I'll be sanding them, prime them & paint them.
Next, I'll assemble them together, and then place a double bed mattress in the third bedroom.
Have the third bedroom be a guest bedroom, so that we can have people visit from interstate or out of town.
It can truly feel like a home — I go out to the garage to do my work.
We go out to the garage to play. We go out to the garage to watch movies, and then we hang out with our family. We can also shift out to the garage to spend time together as a family.
In the summer, we have the fan running, and in winter, we have a beautiful electric fireplace.
"I'm under the weather" I'm going to take action regardless.
I'm going to make the most of today. I really want to encourage you to take the necessary action steps. To ensure that you are becoming who you want to be.
Stop playing small doing just what people say you should do with your life—because that’s what everyone does.
Be willing and prepared to step out of the box.
Be willing to draw your own picture.
Write your own story. At the end of your life, look back and say: "I did it my way, and it was so much fun!"
